Welcome |
Welcome to our Web Site !!!The Rock River Tap has been serving the Horicon area with great sandwiches, drink specials, and good times all in a friendly atmosphere since the 1980s.January of 2008 brought about the opening of a new 1200 sq. ft. addition which holds a new full kitchen and a forty seat DINING ROOM. Outside seating is now available also with the 400 sq. ft. deck overlooking the beautiful Rock River. Along with the new kitchen came some new dining choices. Check out our made from scratch pizza's or Broasted Chicken. Either are available every day except Friday's when we feature a mouth watering Fish Fry. The Rock River Tap is located near downtown Horicon at 110 W. Lake St. (which is also Cty. Road E) just west of Hwy 33 and is adjacent to the Rock River and beautiful Horicon Marsh. The owner, Bob Carpenter, would like to extend an invitation to come and enjoy his establishment and everything the Horicon area has to offer!

About Us
The current owner, Bob Carpenter, opened the bar in 1989 after
purchasing it from the then owner, Mel Kienast. In the fall of 2002, The Rock River Tap, underwent a major remodel of both the interior and exterior of the building. One of the very few items that was left in it's original place and was not changed or replaced during the remodel was the giant urinals in the men's bathroom. When asked why the urinals were not replaced with newer ones during the remodel, Carpenter replied, "These urinals are a part of this building's history! Not to mention, they are so big that our male customers really have no valid reason for missing!" So stop in and see Bob, or any of his friendly staff for a drink, sandwich, conversation or information about the beautiful Horicon Marsh area! |
